Fifteen-year-old male arrested in Dartmouth stabbing

A 15-year-old male has been charged with attempted murder, robbery and possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing and offence after a stabbing in Dartmouth last night. Just after 11 p.m., a 15-year-old male boarded a Metro Transit bus at Alderney Gate suffering from multiple stab wounds to his abdominal area. Man assaulted and robbed on Scott St. in Dartmouth

A man was assaulted and robbed while walking along Scott St. in Dartmouth Monday morning. At 10:41 a.m., the man was walking east when he was approached by two male teens walking towards him. Drug bust on Herring Cove Road

Members of the Integrated Drug Unit searched a residence in the 100 block of Herring Cove Road Friday afternoon and seized quantities of marijuana, hashish, and prescription medication as well as cash and drug paraphernalia. Fifteen-year-old male stabbed in Dartmouth

A Metro Transit bus driver on Alderney Dr. called police when a 15-year-old male, suffering from stab wounds, got onto his bus. The male was transported to hospital suffering from serious injuries, but not believed to be life threatening. Officer hears gunshot, finds handgun in vehicle

At 5:46 a.m., a Halifax Regional Police officer was near McAlpine Ave. in Halifax when he heard what he thought was a gunshot. Immediately after hearing the shot he saw a vehicle approaching him on McAlpine Ave. The officer proceeded to stop the vehicle on Connaught Ave. The two occupants were removed from the vehicle and secured. Robebery at Arby’s Restaurant in Bedford

At 11:10 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to reports of a robbery at the Arby’s Restaurant in Bedford. Upon arrival, two Arby’s staff members said an unknown male entered the store after closing and forced them on the ground. He then stole an undisclosed amount of money from the business and fled on foot. A 25-year-old Westville man and a 19-year-old North Sydney man were among 57 individuals from across Canada that have been arrested on charges ranging from sexual assault, sexual interference, and possessing, making and distributing child pornography. Four men have been charged with possession, accessing and distribution of child pornography.
