The RCMP seized 290 marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia from a garage at a residence on Dalryple Drive in Nine Mile River, Hants County, Wednesday morning. Missing Dartmouth man found dead

A thirty-four-year-old Dartmouth man who was reported missing last week has been found dead. The body of Marcus Eamon Cornelisse was discovered on Tuesday in a wooded area in Dartmouth off Main Street near the Forest Hills Parkway. Foul play is not suspected. Bullet holes could be related to Melvin Jr. shooting

A Dartmouth woman returned to her Chebucto Lane residence on Monday and discovered what she believed to be bullet holes in the exterior of her home. During an initial investigation, police confirmed there were multiple bullet holes in the residence. In a subsequent search, police discovered further evidence. Break and enter at doctor’s office in Stellarton

Stellarton Police are requesting the public’s assistance in helping to identify suspects who broke into the office of a Stellarton physician on Saturday. A man and woman were assaulted and robbed by two thieves while walking along Brunswick St. in Halifax early Sunday morning. At about 12:40 a.m., the two victims were walking along the street when two males approached them. One of the suspects threatened the victims indicating he had a gun. At 9:36 p.m. Friday, Halifax Regional Police received a call from the QEII Hospital about a 27-year-old male that arrived with a gunshot wound to his upper body. At 7:15 p.m. a male wielding a knife entered Moffatt’s Pharmacy at 184 Portland Street in Dartmouth and demanded cash. The staff complied and the male left with a small amount of money.
