A thief armed with a knife robbed a pharmacy in Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon. At about 1:45 p.m., the culprit entered the pharmacy located in the 100 block of Portland Street, where he threatened staff with a knife and demanded all the narcotics in the pharmacy. A 26-year-old man robbed a cigarettes from a convenience store on Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth early Saturday morning. Shortly before 1 a.m., the suspect entered a convenience store in the 100 block of Highfield Park Drive and asked the clerk for cigarettes. About 200,000 contraband cigarettes were seized when the RCMP executed a search warrant at a property on Privilege Road in Ellershouse, West Hants on Thursday. The cigarettes were stored in 1,000 small plastic bags, which contained about 200 illegally manufactured cigarettes per bag. It is believed the cigarettes came from the Province of Quebec to be distributed throughout Nova Scotia. The horse and our officers will get their “manes shaved” to show support for the Daniel McLellan Memorial Fund, which assists families in Atlantic Canada with children suffering from leukemia. The males were assaulted and robbed in the stairwell of an apartment building on Jackson Road in Dartmouth on Thursday evening. The victims were in the stairwell at about 6:20 p.m. when they were confronted by three other males. A Stellarton man was walking his dog in a wooded area near the west end of town late Thursday morning when came across what appeared to be human skeletal remains. He immediately called Stellarton Police from his cellphone. Two thieves robbed a man of his backpack in Dartmouth Early Wednesday morning. At about 12:30 a.m., a 30-year-old male was walking in the area of Caledonia Road and Sheiling Lane when he was approached by two black males. Halifax Regional Police are advising residents in Bedford about a suspicious man and two recent break and enters. On May 20, there were two reports of residential break and enters in the Bedford area. On that same day there were also reports of a man going to homes, knocking on doors and asking the residents for directions. A twenty-eight-year-old Halifax woman faces child pornography charges as a result of a search conducted this morning by members of the Halifax Regional Police/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.
