Two adults and a youth face charges after a marijuana grow operation was discovered during a police drug search Thursday afternoon at a residence in Halifax. Three incidents have been reported to police within the Yarmouth and Lunenburg areas within the last month. Four would-be thieves were arrested after trying to steal property from a car parked at a gas station in Halifax early Friday morning. At about 1 a.m., the four males were observed inside a parked vehicle at a service station in the 100 block of the Kearney Lake Road. RCMP bust marijuana grow-op in Cape Breton

A 32-year-old man after police seized about 60 marijuana plants at a residence on Highway 206 in Arichat, Nova Scotia on Wednesday. The Sydney RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant at the residence and found the plants both indoors and outdoors. In addition to the plants, police seized growing equipment and other drug paraphernalia. Thief robs a children’s store in Halifax

A man robbed a children’s store in Downtown Halifax on Tuesday night. Shortly after 5 p.m., a man entered the Bib and Tucker store at 6423 Quinpool Road and demanded cash from the store clerk. Investigation into baby’s death continues

Police officers in the HRM Integrated Major Crime Unit are continuing their investigation into the suspicious death of a seven-week-old baby girl.
