Sixty-nine-year-old Raymond J. Lahey, the Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Antigonish, is wanted by the Ottawa Police for possession of child pornography and importation of child pornography. Two Dartmouth men were arrested and face drug charges after separate traffic stops by police on Tuesday. At about 5:15 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Joseph Young Street. The driver exited the vehicle and tried walking away, refusing to comply with commands to stop. The man was subsequently arrested and found to be in possession of a prohibited knife and a quantity of crack cocaine. Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of 24-year-old Julian Frederick Chittick of Halifax, who is wanted for attempted murder, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and a number of weapons-related offences. At 4 p.m. on June 29, police responded to reports of shots being fired from a vehicle in Lakecrest Drive area of Dartmouth. The RCMP are looking for a male suspect responsible for an armed robbery at the Credit Union on Highway 1 in Cambridge, Kings County. At about 11:30 a.m. today, a lone male armed with a weapon entered the Credit Union and received an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in this incident. A case of road rage resulted in one man being assaulted and another man being pepper-sprayed in Dartmouth on Tuesday afternoon. Just before 2:15 p.m., police responded to 575 Main Street in relation to an assault. Halifax Regional Police have arrested third suspect for arson in relation to a recent fire at the play set at St. Stephen’s Elementary School in Halifax. A store clerk was shaken but not physically injured after she was robbed outside Needs Convenience in Bedford early Saturday morning.
