Friday, July 30, 2010, Valley, NS…RCMP officers from Bible Hill Detachment responded to the scene of a small plane crash in Valley, NS early this morning. The plane, a turbo prop Cessna, crash-landed in the Hill Ridge Drive area. The first reports to police were received at 6:55 am. The cockpit of the plane was intact following the crash. Good Morning, Halifax Regional Police responded to 150 calls during the night shift of July 27th, 2010. The calls of interest are: 1. At approximately 710 pm a 17 year old youth visiting from Ontario was walking down Heron Walk in the Uniacke Square area of Halifax. He was approached by two males who grabbed him by the arm and searched his pockets. The suspects took a quantity of cash and the youth’s IPOD and fled the area. Tuesday, July 27th 2010, Windsor, Hants County, N.S…At 9:14 this morning, RCMP in Windsor District responded to call of a robbery in progress at a pharmacy on Gerrish Street in the Town of Windsor. A quantity of prescription drugs were reported to have been taken from the pharmacy. RCMP arrested an adult man and woman in relation to this investigation and they are currently in custody.
